HVLP
(High volume, low pressure)/Turbo application systems use a high volume
of air to atomize the spray at a very low pressure. Though fast and
forgiving, this technique presents several challenges. The high volume
of air is in direct contrast with the very low airflow volume required
for airbrush application. Many sunless tanning solutions formulated
for airbrush use do not produce good results with HVLP/Turbo systems.
The airflow characteristics of HVLP/Turbo
equipment differ greatly from those of Airbrush equipment. Therefore,
our Aviva Labs' HVLP/Turbo solution has been performance-tuned to
this equipment, with optimized 1) viscosity (thickness), 2) adherence
to skin, and 3) spray characteristic while exiting the gun nozzle,
resulting in minimized overspray and the most even coverage possible.
