Will Gimme Brown be too dark for my skin tone?
If you use a solution percentage that is too strong for your skin tone then there is a chance Gimme Brown would look very dark/not like a natural tan on your skin. That’s why it is very important to use the Fitzpatrick Scale to determine which skin type you are, so that you can feel confident that you’re choosing the right solution every time. I have fair skin, can I still use Gimme Brown?
Yes you can. On tanners with fair skin tone Gimme Brown will look similar to the deeper, browner tan achieved after they have acquired their base tan (which is the equivalent of an Original). Most often, tanners with fair skin tone will need either an 8 or 10 percent strength Gimme Brown to replicate the tan they would naturally achieve on top of their base tan.
If you want to go a bit darker than your naturally-achievable color, we recommend a blend of 10% Gimme Brown and 12% Gimme Brown to get a few shades darker without fear of “overdoing it”.
Can I blend Original with Gimme Brown?
Yes! You can blend Gimme Brown with both Original and Winter Glow (but not any of the rapid tans!). The results will amaze you! When blended with the Original line, Gimme Brown picks up a beautiful twist of cherry. This cherry-brown tan is fantastic for those who want a color that settles in between the lighter Original and the darker Gimme Brown.
