How do I know if I need an Extraction Fan?
An extraction fan is a great addition to any business because it helps improve your client’s overall experience and keep your work area cleaner, but it’s important to know when you should add an extraction fan to your equipment list. A good rule to go by is the “number of tans” rule. If you are currently spray tanning ten or fifteen clients a week, or roughly two clients a day, then an extraction fan is not a necessity for your business. If you’re spray tanning is up to around five to ten clients a day then it is a good idea to start looking into the idea of an extraction fan.
Keep in mind that there are some exceptions to this rule. If it’s absolutely imperative that every speck of solution is accounted for in your spa or salon, then you should get an extraction fan regardless of how many spray tans you do a day. Also, if you run a mobile business and you host bridal parties or other group events, you will want to invest in an extraction fan to ensure your clients get the best experience possible and use your expert services time and time again.
